Health Habits Academy

A hands-on cooking, nutrition, science, and fitness program designed to help kids build confidence, independence, and lifelong healthy habits.

Age Range: 6–13 | Class Size: Up to 6 | Total Duration: 1hr 45min

Healthy Habits Academy is an engaging, hands-on program that combines nutrition education, cooking skills, basic science, and physical fitness to support the development of the whole child. Each two-hour session is designed to help students build confidence, independence, and healthy habits they can carry with them for life.

Each two-hour class is divided into two parts:

Students learn how to read food labels, understand ingredients, and explore the “why” behind food through simple science concepts. They prepare healthy recipes using whole, recognizable ingredients while building kitchen confidence and critical thinking skills.

Nutrition, Cooking & Science

Duration: 1 Hour

Movement & Fitness

Duration: 45 Minutes

Students participate in fun, inclusive physical activities that promote strength, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness. Sessions may include games, fitness circuits, and team-based movement activities for all ability levels.

F1A Grind Lab

Youth Basketball Development Program

F1A Grind Lab is a high-energy youth basketball development program designed to build stronger, more confident athletes through strength & conditioning, skill development, and mindset training.

This program focuses on mastering fundamentals, improving athletic performance, and teaching the discipline required to succeed in sports and in life.

Athletes will train in a structured environment that emphasizes hard work, teamwork, and leadership while developing core basketball skills.

What is Grind Lab exactly?

This is a high rep, high energy, laser focus on fundamentals and conditioning. We don’t skip steps—we lock in and get after it. Defense, shooting, passing, dribbling—broken down, taught right, and repeated so it shows up in games.

We combine strength, speed, mobility, and mindset with real basketball work that translates. Expect competitive, team-based drills that are fun, intense, and push you past your comfort zone. Every session has purpose. Every rep matters. If you want to tighten your game, build confidence, and separate yourself on the court—Grind Lab is where the work gets done.


Program Focus
Each session is split into two focused phases:

Skill Development (Basketball Training)
Athletes focus on core basketball fundamentals through structured drills and live-action scenarios:

  • Shooting mechanics

  • Ball handling / dribbling

  • Passing / decision-making

  • Defensive fundamentals

  • Footwork

Athletic Performance (Conditioning & Movement)
Athletes build physical strength and performance through:

  • Speed and agility training

  • Strength and conditioning

  • Explosive footwork / plyometrics

  • Endurance training

  • Grind Lab emphasizes more than just physical performance. Athletes develop:

    • Discipline and consistency

    • Confidence under pressure

    • Leadership and teamwork

    • Strong work ethic / challenging yourself

    The goal is to show athletes they can do hard things and to plant seeds of leadership, so it can carry beyond the court into other sports, school, and everyday life.

Our current session has officially wrapped up. The next Grind Lab date is TBD. In the meantime, we are offering private and small group training sessions built around the same curriculum. For availability, pricing, and scheduling details, please contact us directly.

  • For park sessions: good running shoes & water

  • For gym sessions: basketball shoes, ball, & water (balls we be provided if athlete does not have)

  • Come on time & ready to work!

  • Each athlete receives a training journal to track:

    • Skill development progress

    • Conditioning improvements

    • Personal goals

    • At-home drills
